Bad Bunny confirmed he’ll be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2026 on Instagram, in a now-viral clip showing Benito at sunset, perched on a field goal post on a Puerto Rican beach.

Wearing a charcoal suit and traditional pava hat, the video dazzles thanks to the one-of-a-kind Desert diamond necklace around his neck, which was made especially for the occasion by New York-based gold and natural diamond jewelry brand Vice Versa.

Alongside the visuals, he shared a statement that captured the weight of the moment: “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… This is for my people, my culture, and our history.”

Desert diamonds, cherished for their natural warm hues resembling the colors of the desert, from champagne and honey to ochre and mocha, are the perfect choice for a stand-out artist with such a unique sense of style.

Bad Bunny is not the only pioneering star to be seen in Desert diamonds recently either. In the music video for new single Gorgeous, Doja Cat showcases the natural beauty of the warm-colored gems, while Taylor Swift wears a sparkling vintage Stephanie Gottlieb bracelet with 17 carats of bezel-set Desert Diamonds on the cover of her newly released album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Bad Bunny’s stellar performance is set for 8 February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. For the record-breaking Puerto Rican musician, who has topped global charts, sold out stadiums and reshaped music and fashion alike, the halftime show represents another landmark moment.

Jay-Z, whose entertainment company Roc Nation is hosting the spectacle, praised Bad Bunny, saying, “We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”
