What happens when hundreds of jewelry dealers convene in the middle of the Mojave Desert, for the 2025 edition of the Las Vegas Couture Show? The diamonds they bring shine brighter than even the most dazzling neon sign on The Strip.

I am neither a Buddhist nor a mama, but I am gob smacked with delight by the diamond star necklace at Buddha Mama’s booth. This creation flaunts 15 incredible stars, a total of over 38 carats, at a cool cost of $302,000—but who can put a price on the Milky Way?

Celestial matters are likewise on the mind of Castro Smith, a young fun guy from London whose offerings in the Design Atelier include a ring he calls the Galaxy, and whose slightly concave oval surface owes its glow to a plethora of tiny diamonds.

Lock it up! The fellows at TENTHOUSANDTHINGS have a one-of-a-kind pendant dangling from a handmade 18 carat gold chain, in the shape of a lock whose center features a 3.4 carat vintage diamond. Or roll the dice! After all, we’re in Vegas! Marie Lichtenberg has introduced loaded dice whose dots have been replaced by diamonds, embedded in cubes of jasper or ebony.

And speaking of non-traditional materials, with the price of gold soaring, can you blame people for experimenting? Mike Joseph presents his signature titanium fantasias, culminating with a huge bracelet shaped like the world’s most glamorous slinky – and employing his trademark floral blossoms, studded of course with a surfeit of diamonds.

Or maybe you want to eschew stars and blossoms in favor of your own deeply personal message? In that case, Eden Presley has flexible bracelets whose diamonds can spell out your own secret slogan – perhaps something like “I love Vegas,” or “A diamond is forever?”.

Whatever you choose, remember: what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. You can take these diamond treasures home with you.
