Every natural diamond takes on a unique journey of its own, shaped by the indomitable powers of the elements, carrying memories from the dawn of time. This one-of-a-kind cosmic voyage was brought to life in Voyage Through the Diamond Realm, De Beers’ immersive visual experience that enthralled visitors at India Art Fair 2026, which just closed in New Delhi.
The exhibition invited audiences to experience natural diamonds as the Earth’s original masterpieces formed over billions of years through pressure, transformation, and endurance. The artful scenography, immersive visuals, and evocative soundscapes truly captivated the audience. The installation also featured a Kasavu textile work by Lakshmi Madhavan, offering a living, human counterpoint to the eternal presence of the natural diamond.

The exhibition brought together diverse voices from art, film, fashion, and design, who engaged in thoughtful exchanges and reflected on craft, memory, and meaning. Among those stepping into the installation were Khushi Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, both making the case for bold diamond necklaces as the evening’s defining accent.

Dressed in Forevermark jewellery, the pioneering minds behind India Art Fair also discussed how, much like great art, natural diamonds double up as carriers of history and a story that only deepens with perspective.
The showcase at India Art Fair was followed by an intimate Young Collectors’ Dinner, where the conversation continued in a more personal setting. Here, Forevermark jewellery formed a poetic backdrop to the art-led discussions — quiet reminders of nature’s artistry, transformed into enduring jewellery meant to be lived in.
Marking a sparkling, successful debut in India, Voyage Through the Diamond Realm revealed how diamonds have inspired the world’s most enchanting stories about life itself and our place in the universe, from their birth as stardust to their discovery in rivers, deserts and ice, and their final gleaming forms as jewellery whose shine promises to never fade.
