On the morning of the last day of London Fashion Week 2026, Raw Mango made all heads turn. The models – dressed in sculptural silhouettes that paired silk-like fabrics with plush necklines and sharp tailoring, complemented by diamond jewellery by Forevermark – walked down the runway to the sound of the markets that sell the very flowers that inspired the brand’s Fall Winter 2026 collection, It’s Not About The Flower.

The showcase, which marked Raw Mango’s debut on a global stage, focused on the ubiquitous garland which is a central part of everyday life in South Asia. Be it sculptural tops or reimagined sarees, the collection interrogates the notions of value and beauty by incorporating the garland in ingenious ways – draped as sculptural tubes or pieced together as bouquets and wrapped around the neck and waist.
The brand is no stranger to questioning cultural mores via garments and objects. Since textile designer Sanjay Garg founded the brand 18 years ago, Raw Mango has earned a reputation for challenging convention and rejecting stereotypes with its form-based, contemporary interpretations of indigenous fashion that draw on aspects of local heritage, history and colour. This new collection is born of that same rebellious spirit.
Opulent garments and sculptural silhouettes offer interpretations of how a garland sits on the body, while the flowers themselves are constructed in non-traditional and silk-like fabrics – delicate arrangements on lightly embroidered brocades, rib-knit cottons, quilted rayon and wool felt.

While talking about the collection’s emotional core, Garg draws attention to the important role that flowers play in South-East Asia and South Asia, citing India as a country of garlands. Here, it’s never just about one individual flower, but about the plurality.
With an audience that included artist Anoushka Shankar, former first lady of the UK Akshita Murthy, filmmaker Gurinder Chadha and artist Lubna Chowdhary, It’s Not About The Flower gave some of the most pre-eminent voices in fashion, business, entertainment and culture plenty to talk about.
Raw Mango was joined by Forevermark Diamond Jewellery by the De Beers Group as its jewellery partner, signifying a shared respect for provenance and craftsmanship, and adornment as an expression of individuality, culture and personal style.

Shweta Harit, Global Senior Vice President at De Beers Group and CEO of Forevermark, said: “Presented by De Beers Group, the collaboration came together as a meeting of heritage, provenance, and contemporary creativity, where adornment felt like a true extension of identity.”
The collaboration stood out at London Fashion Week by prioritising heritage and craftsmanship over trends, celebrating enduring value – like a natural diamond that lasts forever.
