For Taylor Swift, jewelry is rarely just jewelry. Every ring, bracelet and pendant has the potential to spark fan theories, fuel headlines or quietly hint at what’s coming next. Nothing ever feels entirely accidental.

“Taylor has uniquely positioned herself as the arbiter of her public image and somebody who cares very deeply about the intention in which she shows up in the public eye,” says Sarah Chapelle, who runs the Instagram page TaylorSwiftStyled and is the author of Taylor Swift Style: Fashion Through the Eras.

“As a medium of communication, her fashion is a tool that she likes to wield and utilize. Whether that means distinguishing eras over the course of her career or sending red herrings to fans to drive them into a frenzy.”1

It also makes her jewelry box one worth opening. From sentimental gifts to natural diamonds that mark defining moments, every piece has a story worth telling.

TNT tennis bracelet

First spotted on Taylor Swift’s wrist after the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win in January 2025, the TNT bracelet was commissioned by her husband Travis Kelce and crafted by custom jewelry house Wove Made. The bespoke 14k yellow gold piece features pavé diamond-set “TNT” beads, a romantic and poignant nod to Taylor ‘n Travis2

According to Wove Made, the bracelet reimagines the friendship bracelets inspired by the lyric “Make the friendship bracelets” from Swift’s Midnights track You’re on Your Own, Kid3. The song sparked a fan tradition that saw concertgoers craft and exchange handmade bracelets throughout The Eras Tour. Reimagined as a natural diamond tennis bracelet (opens in a new window) , it’s a familiar silhouette with unmistakably personal meaning.

Initial pendant earrings

Swift has worn her FoundRae gold and natural diamond “T” earrings throughout The Eras Tour and again while celebrating her engagement, making them one of the constants in her jewelry box4

“Many of her outings are styled with personal pieces that she herself has acquired,” says Chapelle. “That’s a key part of her appeal; the personal whimsy she sometimes brings to her styling.”5

More than a simple initial, the heart-shaped design of these earrings references the seven classic forms of love6, reflecting Swift’s preference for jewelry with symbolism woven into the design.

Diamond signet ring

It was close friend Gigi Hadid who commissioned one of Taylor Swift’s most thoughtful gifts. Designed by British jeweler Cece Jewelry, the custom diamond signet ring brings together a handful of Swift’s favorite symbols, including her beloved cat, her lucky number 13 and Travis Kelce’s jersey number, 87. Hidden inside the band is another detail: “TTPD”, a discreet nod to Swift’s 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department.7

“We wanted it to symbolize her favorite things that could always stay close to her, no matter the distance,”8 says Cece Jewelry founder Cece Fein-Hughes. The more you look, the more there is to discover.

Cartier diamond-set watch

Swift first wore her diamond-set Cartier Santos Demoiselle while celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship victory in January 20259, before wearing it again in her engagement photos months later10. Introduced in the late 1990s and now discontinued, the watch feels entirely at home in a collection that mixes newer finds with older favorites11

Kindred Lubeck-designed diamond engagement ring

Rather than opting for a contemporary center gem, Travis Kelce worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry to create a ring centered on a rare old mine-cut diamond. Swift had admired Lubeck’s work long before the proposal, making the choice feel all the more thoughtful12

Hand-cut centuries before modern precision techniques, old mine-cut diamonds (opens in a new window) are prized for their softly rounded shape and individuality. It’s a choice that feels in keeping with Swift’s jewelry box, where pieces are chosen as much for their story as the diamonds themselves.

Taylor Swift’s jewelry box: decoded

Taylor Swift’s jewelry box isn’t built around statement pieces alone. Initials worn on repeat, gifts from friends, antique-inspired diamonds and everyday favorites reveal a collection shaped by personal significance rather than trends. Asked to describe Swift’s style today in three words, Sarah Chapelle doesn’t hesitate: “Feminine, thoughtful, relatable.”13

Take a leaf out of Swift’s book by starting with the classics, then make them your own. Such as a tennis bracelet engraved with something meaningful: an initial you’ll wear every day or a natural diamond that marks a milestone. Mix contemporary pieces with older designs, and don’t save your favorites for special occasions. They were made to be worn so allow them to become part of your signature look.
