Diamonds are always in, creating iconic moments for those who wear them – with celebrities and stylists serving inspiration we can’t help but be enamoured by. One week it’s a showstopping red-carpet ensemble. The next, it’s a celebrity press tour look that gets referenced and remembered just as much as the film they’re promoting.
This year, natural diamonds are making an appearance everywhere from awards ceremonies and premieres to half time shows and all the moments in between. Whether they are worn as a statement or as a touch of subtle elegance, they’re almost always worn with intention; by someone who knows exactly what they’re doing.
The following moments highlight exactly the kind of diamond dressing we can get on board with. The looks that cut through the noise, spark conversation and resonate long after the photos stop circulating.
Charlize Theron brings old-cut Desert diamonds to The Odyssey world premiere
Charlize Theron embraced understated glamour at the world premiere of The Odyssey, with longtime stylist Leslie Fremar pairing a dramatic black velvet gown and sculptural white gloves with just one standout jewel: old-cut Desert diamond earrings by London jewelry house Glenn Spiro. Against the monochrome look, the warm tones of the diamonds added a subtle glow and effortless elegance.
The exceptional earrings featured 19 old-cut Desert diamonds totalling 54.91 carats, alongside a 1.68-carat round diamond. Known for creating one-of-a-kind jewels, Glenn Spiro lets extraordinary gemstones lead every design, and these Desert diamonds, with their naturally warm hues, were the perfect finishing touch.
Sometimes the most memorable celebrity diamond moments aren’t about wearing more, but rather about wearing the right piece. Theron’s red-carpet look was proof that a single pair of exceptional earrings can steal the show.

Sienna Miller wears Desert diamonds to the 2026 Serpentine Summer Party
Held in Kensington Gardens, the Serpentine Summer Party is an invitation-only annual fundraiser and one of the most reliably well-attended nights on the London summer calendar. This year’s event celebrated the unveiling of the 2026 Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Mexico City-based LANZA atelier, with Salma Hayek Pinault, Alfonso Cuarón, and Alejandro González Iñárritu co-hosting1.
Sienna Miller arrived in Ara Vartanian, stacking three Desert diamond pieces: white gold earrings set with white diamonds, a white gold necklace combining brown, black and white diamonds, and a brown diamond ring. The mix of tones is very Ara Vartanian, a jeweler known for working with colored diamonds (opens in a new window) in unconventional combinations. We loved the layering of warm and cool across the three pieces which kept things interesting without being overdone.

Oprah Winfrey accepts the Cannes LionHeart Award in Desert diamonds
The LionHeart is Cannes Lions’ highest individual honor, given to someone who has use their platform to drive lasting positive change2. This year it went to Oprah Winfrey. Cannes Lions chair Phil Thomas had been trying to get her to the festival since 2012, and when she finally delivered her keynote at the Lumière Theatre on the morning of June 23, the room was filled to the brim. On stage, Winfrey reflected on a career built not around reach but around impact. “My legacy is every life I touch,” she told the audience3.
That evening she accepted the prestigious award wearing Moussaieff: pear-shaped yellow Desert diamond drop earrings in yellow gold paired with a fully set yellow diamond line bracelet. We spoke to Alisa Moussaieff, managing director and creative mastermind behind the renowned jewelry house, who said: “Congratulations to Oprah for the Cannes LionHeart Award. It was an absolute honor she wore our yellow diamond high jewelry.”
Taylor Swift wears Desert diamonds to the Toy Story 5 world premiere
Taylor Swift has been a “Toy Story” fan since she was five years old, so her appearance at the franchise’s latest world premiere feels less like a press obligation and more like a bucket-list moment. She showed up in Le Vian Couture earrings styled by Joseph Cassell Falconer and brought her original VHS copy of “Toy Story” for the cast to sign iv.
The earrings are designed in an Art Deco-style, set with 7/8 carats of fancy light-yellow Desert diamonds and 5/8 carats of vanilla diamonds in platinum and 18K honey gold. The warm yellow of the natural diamonds and the vintage-inspired setting were well-matched to a night that was equal parts Hollywood premiere and heartwarming nostalgia.
Swift teamed up with Jack Antonoff to write the song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for the film; a country-leaning track inspired by Jessie the cowgirl, which she performed live at the premiere.

Michaela Coel steps out in Desert diamonds at A24’s “Mother Mary” New York screening
Ahead of its April 17 release, A24 hosted a New York screening of “Mother Mary” at Metrograph. The psychological drama is directed by David Lowery and Coel plays Sam Anselm, a fashion designer drawn back into the orbit of her estranged best friend, a global pop star played by Anne Hathaway. It’s one of the most anticipated films of the year and the screening drew the kind of attention that only an A24 title with this cast tends to command.
Coel arrived in two Desert diamond pieces from Shola Branson: Mosaic earrings carrying 13 carats of champagne diamonds and sunset brown diamonds, paired with a Mosaic ring set with a 2.1-carat old mine moval center stone totaling 9 carats.
Desert diamonds carry their own story before they’re ever set, formed deep underground over billions of years, each one shaped by its origins. On Coel, the warm brown and champagne tones read as considered without being showy, which, for a film so rooted in the language of fashion and identity, felt like exactly the right call.

Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights diamond jewelry
For Wuthering Heights, Margot Robbie leaned fully into storytelling, using diamonds to extend the film’s world rather than just dress for the cameras. Along with stylist Andrew Mukamal, Robbie delivered a rare case of red-carpet method dressing that really paid off.
The headline pieces were the bespoke signet rings Robbie commissioned jeweler Cece Fein-Hughes to create ahead of the press tour. One for herself, one as a gift for her co-star Jacob Elordi, who play Catherine and Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel. The chunky gold rings feature enameled skulls and thorn details and are finished with a dainty border of pavé diamonds.
On the band, things get even more specific: a Brontë quote (“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same”), the characters’ initials, and “1847–2026,” linking the novel’s publication year to the film’s release4.

That same attention to detail carried through to the film’s Los Angeles premiere, where Robbie switched gears and wore the historic Taj Mahal Diamond. The legendary diamond, inscribed with the words “Love is Everlasting” carries one of the most famous love stories in jewelry history5.

Ego Nwodim’s Botswana-sourced natural diamonds at the 2026 Spirit Awards
At the 41st Film Independent Spirit Awards, Ego Nwodim stepped into the host role with the same presence that made her Saturday Night Live alter ego Miss Eggy such a scene stealer.
Nwodim wore Giambattista Valli6, a sculpted bustier and full skirt that delivered high-impact glamour without losing playfulness. Styled by Micaela Erlanger, she paired the look with Botswana-sourced natural diamond jewelry including drop earrings and a three-stone oval-diamond ring from Grandview Klein Diamonds.
The diamonds brought clarity and structure to the volume of the gown without competing, showing that classic stones hold their own under stage lights on a night built around film, celebration and a host who clearly understood the assignment.

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Desert diamond stud
At the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, Bad Bunny delivered a historic performance that put his Puerto Rican heritage front and center. The field at Levi’s Stadium was transformed into a landscape inspired by the island, from sugarcane fields to domino tables and a piragua (shaved ice) stand
Amid all of that, one detail stood out on closer inspection: a single marquise-cut Desert diamond stud set in yellow gold, shaped unmistakably like a football. Designed by Marvin Douglas, the earring was made specifically for the performance, its shape nodding to the game itself and its warm Desert diamond hue standing out against Bad Bunny’s all-white look.

It was small and easy to miss, but impossible to forget once you caught it. It will forever hold it’s place in diamond history.
Grammys 2026 diamond jewelry
The Grammys always leave us with plenty to talk about but this year’s most memorable diamond moment came with real emotion attached. When Bad Bunny accepted Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos (the first Spanish-language album to win the category), the room shifted.
His reaction spoke volumes. As did the single diamond huggie hoop earring he wore: a small but pointed detail that’s now inseparable from his historic win.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, diamonds went big. Hailey Bieber let her jewelry lead in a black strapless Alaïa gown, wearing a custom Lorraine Schwartz choker that placed a 30-carat pear-shaped natural diamond at its centre, paired with oversized pear-shaped studs and a matching ring. Justin Bieber followed suit in his own unique way, arriving in a 100-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond necklace over his black Balenciaga suit and wearing it with total ease7.

The unique qualities of Desert diamonds also took center stage thanks to Keltie Knight, who collaborated with designer Danny Godoy on a natural diamond color inspired look, showcasing Desert diamond rings and earrings from the inimitable Renna Jewels.

Golden Globes 2026 diamond jewelry
Few moments crystallized the night quite like Jessie Buckley’s Best Actress win. As she accepted the award, the natural diamonds she wore took on new meaning, forever linked to her career-defining win.
Her look spoke of a certain elegance, with Desert diamonds that caught the light without being overpowering. The styling felt deliberate and grounded, proof that impact doesn’t always come from scale. Sometimes it comes from choosing the right piece and letting it do all the talking.
