Lucy Frith is an experienced writer and editor, specializing in luxury lifestyle, including horology and jewelry. She graduated with a first in Journalism from University of the Arts, London in 2009 and has since edited and written for publications including Stylist, The Times Luxx, Brummell, The Guardian and Sotheby’s Magazine. During her time as a content director she has worked closely with some of the most glittering jewelry brands in the business including David M Robinson, Harry Winston, Graff Diamonds and De Beers. Recently, she has been lucky enough to receive De Beers Institute training in the history and formation of natural diamonds and is qualified in synthetic diamond detection.
Lucy is a huge fan of color diamonds and anything “with a unique point of difference” especially those with visible inclusions. “During my diamond training, I came across a number of diamond inclusions that really moved me. One that resembled a butterfly opening its wings and another that looked like a gymnast leaping enthusiastically from one facet edge to another. I love that these occurred naturally within these magnificent stones and, like looking for shapes in the clouds, I was mesmerized.”
